🔴 IRGC: U.S. Vessels and Tankers Targeted in Persian Gulf

🔹 The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said in Statement No. 15 that its Navy targeted two U.S. military vessels and eight oil tankers in the Persian Gulf in response to a U.S. military attack on five Iranian oil tankers.

🔹 The IRGC said the strikes inflicted heavy damage on the targeted vessels.

🔹 It added that 10 other vessels attempting to cross the prohibited and unsafe zone of the Strait of Hormuz, allegedly with the encouragement and support of the U.S. military, were also targeted.

🔹 During this operation, U.S. Navy destroyers DDG-119 and DDG-53, which carry cruise and Aegis missile systems, were directly targeted and struck.
