Yesterday (Monday), after increased Hezbollah activity was identified in the area, the IDF struck terror infrastructure sites belonging to Hezbollah in Aadshit in southern Lebanon. Since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion, the Hezbollah terror organization has launched approximately 130 rockets from the Aadshit area toward IDF troops and toward the State of Israel and Kiryat Shmona in particular.
The IDF struck numerous infrastructure sites in the area in order to degrade the entrenchment and operational capabilities of the organization’s terrorists in the area. Among the targets struck were weapons storage facilities, launchers, and command centers belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization. During the strikes, terrorists involved in advancing multiple terror attack plans against the State of Israel were eliminated.
The Hezbollah terror organization establishes itself in civilian areas and systematically places terror infrastructure within villages, endangering the residents of Lebanon.

We must not allow it to achieve gains on the nuclear front, in the Strait of Hormuz, or in other matters on the agenda. We are in a very high state of readiness. Air Force aircraft are armed and prepared, and targets are loaded into the systems—we know how to command them for a powerful strike immediately.
In Lebanon, we continue to strike Hezbollah in a multi-front effort. We have eliminated over 1,700 Hezbollah terrorists since the beginning of the operation —this is a severe blow to the terrorist organization.

Shortly after the identification, and in order to remove the threat, the Israeli Air Force, guided by the troops, struck and eliminated the terrorists.
